The Army you've got.
I think I get it now. When questioned by soldiers in Iraq about equipment shortages, Mr. Rumsfeld answered, like, You go with the Army you've got, not the Army you'd like to have -- words to that effect.
So, does that mean that our Iraq operation wasn't an example of a bold, innovative new light-force concept? Or rather, that we had to take our poorly equipped, undermanned, military into battle as-is, including calling out the reserves, because Iraq was such an emergency?
