Clarification.

In my Boo! post the other day (below), I had my say about the new Ed. Sec.'s attack on PBS's Buster.

My afterthought: I'm not paranoid. I think the Bushies love to simultaneously tweak liberals and pander to their evangelical base. I notice the world's knickers aren't in a twist over this latest cartoon war. Fine. Let it go.

I also notice that Republican pols are already cranking out the one-liners on Howard Dean's imminent appointment as the new DNC chair. Couple of ways of looking at this: (1) to paraphrase Samuel Goldwyn, Don't even ignore 'em; (2) to paraphrase another old-timer, Smart-ass arrogance goeth before a fall.
