Slice o' life.

Spent the past weekend at a campground, one of those membership RV campgrounds. We bought the membership years ago and rarely used it until recently. I've been a campground snob. I'm getting over that. This weekend was one of the best getaways we've had in a long time. Family with us, non-stop activities for the kid...lots of people around, lots of kids, lots of dogs. Meeting people...real people; like the ironworker and his spouse--they live in their motor home and go where the work is--building dams, bridges, skyscrapers--and love it. The woman in the electric wheelchair, who wrangled her pickup and trailer into and out of its space single-handedly. It was good. No "issues." I'm refreshed.
