Bush bushed?

Anybody feel refreshed and inspired by our president's Iraq speech last night? Even the true believers must be getting that sick feeling. Speaking from Ft. Bragg didn't help. Faces in the mandatory uniformed audience didn't look that convinced. Shades of Nixon, emoting before an invited audience of VFW vets. How about the biggies on the morning shows? Rice sounded stressed. Rumsfeld just looked--and sounded--weary. At an NFL game, the coach would be frantically flipping through his roster, looking for somebody fresh to send in. These war leaders appear to be in their last throes.
