The Discovery Channel is choosing The Greatest American. Actually, I could vote. You can. They've identified 100 candidates. Tonight on the first show of the series, they'll "whittle" these down to 25. What a time to be choosing the Greatest American. We can't agree on anything.

I mean Tommy Douglas!? Really. How many Canadians even KNOW who Tommy Douglas was? Sure he invented universal health care, but did he do anything really important like invent chewing gum? Now Terry Fox. There's a guy who IS Mr. Canada in my books.
