"Every culprit a victim..."

a quote from Joseph Heller's Catch 22. Today, another culprit has owned up to horrific crimes. The name of this monster is Lynndie England, Private First Class, U.S. Army, age 22. This is one of the faces of the Abu Ghraib prisoner scandal. So far, we've found only non-commissioned officers and enlisted persons to prosecute for this disaster, which has done immeasurable damage to United States credibility. We must keep after this issue, as we did the abuses of Watergate and the pecadilloes of Bill Clinton. Now that Pfc. England and others have set an example of responsibility-taking, it's time for officers, cabinet members, and other people of faith to step up to the plate. And if they don't, our legistators have an obligation to require it.
