CBS's venerable Sunday Morning--one of TV's only shows where it's O.K. to be smart--called attention to the fact that Hispanic-Americans comprise our largest minority now, and have supplied most of our recent population growth. Then they proved it by running a promo for their Rock Star; INXS summer reality show, to be hosted by Dave Navarro (Red Hot Chili Peppers--Mexican-American) and Brooke Burke (Frederick's of Hollywood--Portuguese-American). Not a surprise. If you can grab one percent of the Latino audience, it can make all the difference in the network TV ratings race. So when do we get a Latino news anchor?
